cool.. I just pulled the SVIDEO cable off my graphics card and used
that to test it. WOW, now I have a computer with a 20ft long cable
from the computer to the keyboard! I booted up the IIGS and all I
can say is WOW. I still dont have a mouse, but compared to my
monocrhome //c this is like another world.

There is some type of hard drive inside this beast, because without
the floppies plugged in it whirs away and something called "Transwarp"
appears on the screen. Next up is a GUI that looks alot like the old
macintosh system software. It says "system 6.0" what excactly is
this? A nice sharp color picture on the screen it looks better than
my old amiga 1084s did back in the day (I still havent tried any
games, so I am talking purely from a GUI standpoint). I really like
this, I took a picture, can anyone tell me about this particular IIgs
from my desc and this image: http://members.cox.net/kev77/IIGS.JPG
Please tell me anything you can.

thanks so much... now to find a cheap mouse and I am all set.

Anyone know if this color rgb monitor can be used with any of the
older macs??? prob not... is the IIgs the only machine that works
with it?
