The chip cable has always been the problem with my TWGS.  It's funny - I put
the TWGS into a slot and if it doesn't boot up, I just poke the chip cable a
few times and she comes to life.  I need a new cable.  :-)  If you've gotten
the TWGS up at all (even once, I guess) then I would be tempted to suspect
the chip cable.  Try poking it.  :-)
