No, in this case thats not true. Some (mostly older) CP/M cards REQUIRE slot
4, and must have certain controllers located in predetermined slots, ie 5.25
drives -=must=- be in slot 6, etc.
Sorry, not being petty - but you were correct to suggest that slot 4 is
generally the ideal location for most CP/M cards. It really depends on which
CP/M card is being used.
