Just for more information - tracing the wires and checking with a meter for
continuity between the solder point marked with a voltage, and the suspected
wire, has lead me to this conclusion:
DIN plug:
7 6
3 8 1
5 4
2
1. +5V (orange)
2. Ground
3. +12v (red)
4. -12V (black)
5. +12V (red, siamesed with 3)
6. +5V (orange, siamesed with 1)
7. +12v (blue)
8. No connection
Shield - no connection, but present.
Ideally I'd like to be able to double check this before I plug anything in
;)
