: The thing is, I'm trying to get some information

: trouble to move the two computers into the same room
: and do it with a null modem cable. So, since I just
: happened to have a Zip Plus, I decided to try that.
: Unfortunately, I haven't been able to get it to work.
: I'm wondering if it doesn't have something to do with
: the fact that my GS is a ROM 3 machine.
Ah!, you didn't tell us that before. The best thing to
do then is to get HFV Explorer for your PC, then install
the HFS FST on GS/OS and format the Zip to full capacity
HFS, now take it to the PC, run HFV with the ZIP disk in
place. Drag files to it with HFV, remove it and read it
in the GS. Don't try to use the files from the HFS ZIP
disk, but rather copy them to the HD, then use them.
Should work like a charm. I can email you the program
you need. :o)
