Re: Digi D-Net A2 netcard

I just bought one of these on Ebay cheap....just didn't know
anything about it. So they really need an Apple Server to connect
the network? Is there any way I cna tell if the card is good when I put it in the Apple and turn it on?

it runs an 'educational" network of apple // computers...the digicard is in

uses something called 'mandrake" (pre-unix name) to configure said hd for
the network..

i've got a couple of them and always plan on trying to get one up...i think
i have one (by how the lights xmas tree on startup) that still has the
software on it..i talked to someone on how to get such a beast up (assuming
the stuff is still on the hd) prob have to gut a chicken and sell my soul to
the devil to do so..but supposedly there is a way in

thats about all i know right now ..but if anyone trips over a 5.25 inch
floppy with 'mandrake" on it...let me know you could prob get a few of the
beasts up...if you had the install floppy....

projects projects too many projects
