It's not "AUX" RAM, but in the case of all but the "Slinky"
or RamFactor, it _is_ bank-switched memory.

For all practical purposes except 80-columns and DHR,
the utility is the same.  Very little software was written
to use the AUX RAM exclusively.

Bank-switched "language card" memory cards like the
Saturn can be used to expand Appleworks desktop, to
support a RAM disk, and to allow single-pass disk
copying.  There were few other uses to which AUX mem
was put (again, with the exception of hardware to support
80-column and DHR display).
