Thus this is a case where someone makes money on a product which
uses the Apple ROM's (I know this because I've paid the shareware
fee myself - I think it was well worth it), and yet Apple has
taken no legal action.

Nope -- it's not "trialware" but "crippelware": the trial version
ceases to work 10 minutes after it's started. So if you're content
restarting the emulator at least every 10 minute you want to use it,
you can use it as long as you want without paying the shareware fee.

And what do you think Oasis is? It's not fully operational from
the beginning, until you've paid the fee.
