Thanks a ton! I was just going through all the (*.DSK) disk images I
made from the disks I got off eBay.. One of them had this code for
doing 80-column "windows".. Turns out it was from the October 1988
issue of Compute!'s Apple Applications magazine -- and of the two
Apple magazines I have in my "collection", I have the September and
October issues.. and they only survived because my name is in them..
I digress.. so the window "system" has a little utility program called
"DISCONNECT.RAM" that looks like it's doing the same as your code. I
read about how to go about it (but no source code) in the prodos 8
technical reference manual.
I appreciate the code; will put it to good use!
