looks like the makers of that card was purchased by a bio-med company some
years ago.

Thanks Bart, I've found out a little about it since. An ad for it
descibes it as " 12-bit A/D, 12-bit D/A, 8 digital sinse inputs,
32 bit real-time clock, two 16-bit timers plus QuickI/O data
acquisition software" and says it interfaces with virtually any lab
instrument using a recorder or meter, including GC and HPLC systems,
spectrophotometers, pH meters, process control apparatus,
thermocouples, etc.
Sold for $495. Another $250 if you want the premiun software package.
