Hi,
I'm restoring my Apple II (not plus or e). I pulled the 6502 chip and corrosion
had eaten 3 of its pins. It has an S logo on it, which I believe stands for
Synertec. The numbers on it are 7909E and (of course) 6502. What I was wondering
is can I replace it with another 6502 that has a number other than 7909E?
