If you have a CFFA card on an Apple II, you should be able to
move the CompactFlash to a PC and, with appropriate PC software,
do raw block reads/writes and interpret the fixed partions.
There are a few programs for the PC that can interpret various
Apple II file systems in disk images. This would be an easy
hack ;-) to access the raw CF blocks as a "disk image" to allow
the Apple files to be manipulated on a PC.
