Well, of course I just had to try it...
I have a PPC 5260/100 running System 7.5.5 ($8 at Value Village) that
has built-in ethernet, so I used that as the go-between. I'm running OSX
on a G3 iMac. From the GS's AppleShare control panel I can see the iMac,
but cannot mount it... at least one attempt ended in a buggered system
on the GS (start-up icons X-ed out). Still, it's nice to have an
almost-direct connection set up... and much cheaper than the $120
Ethernet-to-LocalTalk adaptor I was looking at the other day :)
