1) and .exe files are not usable on most appleII computers, nor most MacOS
or OSX computers, nor most HPUX machines, nor most DomainOS machines like
ground.ecn.uiowa.edu. I don't have any flowerpots such as Window-boxes.
2) unix machines with line-oriented newsreaders can do nothing with yEnc
encoded files. They are always corrupted.
For more universal access, do not post rar files, do not post Windows
..exe files (self-extracting or not). Post text encoded files on cba2
(binscii (appleII), uuencoded (unix), binhex (Macintosh), whatever.
even .zip or .sit files are more usuable, but they must be text encoded
when posted.
