Getting your 2GS outputting VGA signals is relatively easy, and not
particularly expensive.
I used an external Amiga screendoubler (which converts the Amiga's
15kHz output, same as the GS) to VGA.

I just made up a 15pin (GS) to 23pin (Amiga) patch lead.
Works fine.
