Good question.  The pinout I got was from the "Apple IIgs Hardware
Reference" by Apple Computer Inc., Second Edition on page 165.  I just
looked up the pinout in another book, "Inside the Apple IIgs" by Gary
Bond and it lists pin 9 as the fourth switch input but it is still
saying that pin 5 is a strobe output.  I'm positive that the IIgs does
not have a strobe output but at present I only have the hardware
reference to back that up.  :-)
