I've told this story before.  I got to a garage sale some years back,
and someone had just grabbed onto an obviously Apple computer.  I'd
never seen that one before, so I got closer.  By that time, he'd popped
open the lid, and said something like "there's no SIMMs".  I said, because
I could now see the model, "Uh, it's an Apple IIGS, not a Mac".  I said
some other stuff, but it never got through to him.  He had actually bought
it, for $35, before I'd arrived.  So he took his new "Mac" home.

Oddly, I bumped into him a few days later, and he said "It's not a Mac".

We get all those people coming in here with questions about their Mac, but
in this case, the IIGS is sufficiently like some of the early Macs without
built in monitors  that the mistake is at least somewhat understandable
(especially given the number of Macs released back then it was hard to keep
track).
