Two thoughts:
First, why not just 1 400k drive or 2 for the slot? I mean, instead of
shooting for lots of room just shoot for a RAM Drive install and the
resultant speed boost. use the rest of the worlds of room for the
housekeeping?
Second: Instead of DOS 3.3 why not one of the more specialized DOS subsets
like DavidDOS or the Beagle offerings or??
I know that some of these did some pretty spectacular memory tricks.
Ok a third thought:
I am not a whiz bang programmer but it seems to me that a system patch
should be loadable. I am thinking of the pre-boot used for some
peripherals. uh...Didn't the ProFILE DOS drives require that for the
setup? iirc another gadget that slipped my mind also used a preboot to
achieve functionality.
