Seems to me from looking at quite a few,
from //c thru platinum //e, that code is
included in the rom. Prom should not be
necessary in that case. However there is
one questionable IC on that card. I had
a bit of trouble reading it even using
the larger version with brightness and
contrast enhanced. Do you know what chip
that is? It's at location U17.
