Signs of the apocalypse

Hi everybody, but I just bought my first mac.

I've had other macs before, but they were all freebies that were brought
into the house to service my Apple II, not computers I actually paid money
for.  I purchased a G4 desktop today, with a 17" LCD monitor and everything
built into the base.  Its very nice.

I used to be a *very* avid fan of Apples in the 1980s, up until about 1991,
the day the IIgs was discontinued because it was too popular.  That must be
one of the dumbest decisions of the 20th century.

Anyhow, after about a decade of dealing with PCs, I've decided to give Apple
a second chance.  Wish me luck.
