If it's mounted to a PC board, wave-soldering gets
everything at the same time.  The only extra cost is
part insertion.

If it's mounted remote from the board--a likely case--then
it would probably require another connector and a flexible
cable, at slightly more cost.

It's interesting how things go up in cost by a factor of
ten as the quantities get down under 100,000.  ;-)
