Well, we don't need to get too upset about it.  There was a time when
I thought about zipping up all my Apple II archives simply because
zipping them would give me greater compression than ShrinkIt.
However, there would have been a trade off in speed as unzipping files
on my IIgs is much slower than unshrinking them.

Not to mention that the only software I remember that allows you to
create a zip file was included with an 8 bit communications program
and it was quite limited.  That code was later removed and placed in a
separate utility if I remember correctly.  The only name I can
remember right now is Angel but I don't know if that was the comm or
the utility program.  :-)
