Re: Apple, IBM and PCs (Re: Apple, Jobs, and the irony of it)
Hi Everybody!!!
I have read all postings below the statement I did.
Okej take it from this part. Who got most market I don't care, cause
it's not my personal interest. I know win2k and winxp is NT based. I
don't gone puke out all my computer skills and knows about thees
machines, no point to do that.
I use PC a lot, so even Macs and Apples even Atari and what ever the
computer I got which I can do that thing with I need for the moment,
like play Outrun.
The history do i know.
I know many uses PC/win concept, and even why.
When talked about running DOS on older PCs, I ment to compare with Apple
Mac, cause newer Mac OS aren't even bootable on older machines. I may I
to high step to mention that newer MS OS will be run on 8088 machines,
cause the boot files will not fit on a 360 Kb disk, but it may will be
placed on a harddrive thrue a laplink session.
But this is Apple //, where can I find some PAL card to my Apple //e.
The only screen I got it that which was with the Apple //e then I found
it, it's a green monochrome sceen which support NTSC, I will rather use
my color Philips screens to get more of my Apple //e which is a nice
computer. It's a strong ones among all other 8 bit computers from that
time.
Well, today it's Christmas, have a happy time with all your relatives
and families.
Best Regards
Mikael Lj
