After all this chatter and discussion of IIe's and their nuances, I
decided to pull mine out of it's resting place and fire it up for a bit
of a nostalgia trip.

I had it all running, booted and happily chattering away at one of my
old games from back then, when I smelled a burning smell...

I have a IIe in my basement that you are welcome to for the cost of
shipping. I don't want to send it to the dump, but I'm happy to give it
away to an enthusiast.

That sounds like a plan indeed. I hear that Bill Garber is quite interested in acquiring new cases/hardware and the rest of it - so all I would need would be a power supply unit.

I am located in Australia - so sending the entire computer is way out of my budget (potentially around $50 USD = ~$80 AUD). However the power supply itself should be a hellavu lot lighter.

Firstly, where abouts are you located?
Do you have a paypal account?
Are you regged with ebay? (makes things simpler, but not required)

If you'd like to email me - remove the BS from my email, the O (as in orange) is included.

Bill - does that sound OK to you?
