Hello Lockar.
Forgive the ignorance? I'm ignorant myself. AE upgraded the TWGS firmware
and GALs over the life of the product. Though I've never heard of any
problems, it seems feasible that the first TWGS may not have been ROM3
compatible. I know my TWGS works in my ROM3 and believe it to be one of the
first but can't say that for a fact.
It's a good question. I believe the TWGS predates the the ROM 3 IIgs. Many
RAM cards needed a special PAL for ROM 3 compatibility.
At any rate Lockar, I hope you have fun with your Apple II. It sounds like
you have the makings of a fine setup.
