That would depend on a few factors.

1) Is it Hayes compatible?
2) Does it require the PC drivers?
3) Will it operate on a standard serial port?

If the answers are 1) yes, 2) no, 3) yes
then it will most likely work as a modem,
and possibly FAX also with the correct software.
