No specific information on that, but it sounds like a printer converter. Most
Apple-supporting printers of the day used a parallel port to talk to the
computer. The //c was built with only serial connections, perhaps in part to
drive the purchase of Apple built serial interfacing printers (<-- cynical
view).
Converters appeared to allow people's current printer, or a new purchased
parallel port interface printer to connect to the //c's port.
