Because of the way that AE did their memory cards, BitBanger can't tell
how much RAM is in one. And being that you have 2MB on the card running
in a ROM 3, you start getting errors right where there is no more
memory. BitBanger's author probably could have fixed it so it would
work, but he never had an AE cards to play test with. And it was the
only memory test program that found out I had bad RAM on my AE GS-RAM+
(with a full 6GB.) So the only way you can use BitBanger on an AE card
is if you have it fully populated.
Otherwise though, I had no new ideas for what you could try. The three
GS crashing problems I've ever experienced that were hardware related
were easily tracked down. And you seem to have tried everything but a
motherboard replacement...
