Good thrift store find...

Since being hit by Hurricane Juan and still without power after 5 days, I
decided to go out to the local thrift store for a diversion.  I was
thinking of not bothering but something said 'go!'.

I found an Apple branded IIc LCD screen in mint shape for $5. Canadian.
I'd never seen one of these other than in magazine pictures but recognized
it right away.  I had a discount coupon as well so I got it for $2.
Canadian.

I guess you should always follow your instincts.  I took it to a friend's
place with my IIc and tested it (he has his power back) and it worked
great.
