: NOT an Imagewriter printer.  Apple called that printer the Apple Scribe.  It
: was a thermal transfer printer.  Did not use special paper like the Apple
: Silentype, but it did have a special transfer ribbon.  The printer was not
: popular at all, and the print quality really sucked.  And I'd say good luck
: finding ribbons for it these days.

You CAN use thermal paper with it if you prefer.

I don't remember...does it work with non-perfed paper?  FAX rolls would
probably work in it...

What was really awful was the wasteful way it did color...!
