ShrinkIt will NOT format a 1.44 mb disk on the IIe, I tried it.
Yes, Of course Pre-ProDOS anything won't do any 1.44 disk
AFAIK, and some ProDOS versions have problems on the II+,
but for the most part, yes, you can pretty much format them on
anything. I wondered if MS-DOS utils worked on IIe.
