Daniel:I suspect that most folks here would not condone the use of an old IIgs in that fashon unless it was absolutely inoperable.
Granted they are not necessarily worth much as is, someone may be interested in getting a working computer to do word processing or other functions on. Consider finding them a good home instead of gutting them.

I've seen people mod the cases of NES' so I'm sure it'd be a breeze compared to that, but I lack the specs and dimensions of the cases.
