Thanks Ernest for asking, and thanks all for the various replies.
I too have a Sider with a blown P/S. I know what the problem is because I
cracked it open and merely plugged the drive into an old AT p/s and it spun
up so I could read the data (and copy it over to a Focus). I now have the
info I need to attempt a repair on my antique too.
