Not quite. The original Quickdraw for the Macintosh 128/512/Plus/SE had
partial support for color (eight colors total, IIRC), but Apple didn't
support it. There were some third-party color products that didn't
sell well.
"Color Quickdraw" was introduced with the Macintosh II, and only ran
on machines with a 68020, 68030, or 68040 processor. It was never
backported to 68000-based machines such as the SE.
