The original poster says he's tired of flamewars, but he wants to start
a thread that is most likely to evoke controversy. People who respond to
this thread might want to look at the message "header" for the list
of SEVERAL newsgroups to which this thread is directed:

Anyone interested in all these systems or any of these OS's would be better
advised to ask specific questions, it seems to me, rather than put messages
about CP/M vs OS-9 in newsgroups where neither is relevant. The Web has many
Web sites devoted to one or more of these OS's which would be much more
informative to read than a long and unfocused cross-posted discussion.

ONe might also do a google search on "trolls", that is also very informative.
