What is?  comp.sys.apple2?  I'd say that's likely to be an Apple group.  
comp.sys.sinclair is likely not to be about CBM machines either (although 
you never know in there), and c.s.atari.8bit won't be about Commodore 
either.  Check what newsgroups a message is posted to before spouting off 
about things like that.

Possibly.  The C64 was always so much more expensive than the Speccy here 
in the UK.
