Since it worked once, try it again a few times, at different temperatures,
different levels of earnestness, and facing different directions.  ;-)

Seriously, it is likely to work again--and all it takes is once to save
you having to transfer DOS using a null-modem cable.

It will also pretty conclusively demonstrate whether the problem is
the disks or the drives.
