        Anything is possible. Bear in mind I'm a software guy not a hardware guy.
You might be better off with an external speaker though. I picked up a
couple of echo cards a few years ago. There appears to be a jack for a
single speaker (two wires) on the card itself. If all you have is the
internal speaker you may want to see what you can do about connecting the
wires from the speaker to the motherboard to the jack in the back of the
card. I don't think it is a good idea to have the speaker connected to both
the motherboard and the card at the same time. I'd also recommend not
cutting the wires. Other than that, it should work.
