Though this is true of the branded "No Slot Clock", the
IC/socket assembly that constituted the hardware of the
clock is still being manufactured by Dallas/Maxim.
The dual lithium cells in the assemblies are good for 10 years
from date of manufacture, and maybe a bit longer, since they
are shipped in a "powered down" state.
The software must be obtained from other sources, but is
pretty easy to find.
