to write a small program to "massage" a sampled sound converted
to 8-bit, mono, x-kHz rate so that the drum machine can use it.
This is part of the problem. No-one can remember. I can't work it out
because I don't know the sample frequency, only how much memory it has.
If I could find more technical information about the system, I could
work out the format of the samples.
Then all I'd need to do would be to work out the tape header, the
checksum, and the format of the data ;)
(Or figure out the pinout of the 'expansion' connector on the back of
the machine!).
