First off the IIc without a disk tries to boot from
the disk and upon finding none hangs. Simply hit
control-reset and get the "]" prompt. Now type the
IN#2 and wait. Go to the PC and setup to send the
DOS33DUMP file by ASCII send with .2 to .4
seconds of line delay. Once sent, go to the IIc and
insert a disk, and type "INIT HELLO". When done
you should have a DOS (ESDOS ][ actually) disk.

Are you sure it's not a IIc+? Their internal 3.5" disk drive
is in slot 5. The 5.25 connected externally is in slot 6.
