Actually, I kind of lied about my configuration. I said I was using a
DB25 to DB9 adapter.. Not true.. I'm using a DB25 to DB9 *cable* and
it's like 10 feet long. On top of the //c+ mini DIN 8 to DB25 cable,
it's all (probably) around 16 or more feet long.
I'm wondering if maybe the cable length is a problem... Serial cables
usually don't go for too long, do they?
Welp, tomorrow I'm off to work (I work from home 4 days a week).
Gonna grab the RS-232 breakout box from my office and all the
gender-benders and adapters I'll need to make a shorter cable.
Can't wait to get it working! Such an up-hill battle..
