If the problem is the mech only, you can replace the mech
with an Apple 3.5 800k mechanism. I did in an external
UniDisk 3.5 and it works fine. I also have a spare internal
controller for the UniDisk if you can use it you are welcome
to it to get Contiki up and rolling on the Apple IIs.
