I'm no expert on such things mind you, but I think you might have a better
chance of finding help with your problems by directing your posts to a
newsgroup that is geared towards the Mac.  This newsgroup is concerned with
the older 8 bit Apple II series of machines, a different variety of Apple
altogether.  There may be folks here who have the answers you seek, but
there are sure to be a larger number of people that know about such things
in a Mac related newsgroup.  Good luck finding help!
