Well, the 1526 wan't that bad at all. I still have that printer and it 
still works. It was just simply a bit slow compared to modern printers.

It only depends on which model DMP you chose. CBM offered various models 
of  DMPs at the time. The 1526 was one of them and did a fairly decent 
job.
