I seriously think it was all a matter of what month. In early 1983, a C64
with disk drive cost $600. In 1982, A c64 cost $600. (w/tape) = $ 700 and
with drive was around $750. By Summer 1983, the C64 dropped 20% on price
and by Christmas time dropped another 15-16%. This all depended on when the
survey was made on the prices and what was compared. I saw the chart but
the comparison was made but the comparison was never a clear and true
debate. Sounds like fancy term like Chromashadowing. Wow, a little spray
paint job. Bunch of fancy words but meant utterly nothing.
