Yes, the c64 seems to inspire more intense development than the Apple 2
for some reason... I wonder if there is a fundamental difference in the
kind of people working in each group, or if it is more to do with the
nature of the platform.
Personally, I'd like to see a "super IIe" rather than a new GS... that's
mainly becuse I just find the GS a bit too complicated for casual
tinkering. I'd go for a modestly quick processor (60Mhz would do) with
ProDOS updated to support larger volumes and better graphics and audio
built in to Applesoft and direct access to more RAM without having to do
any bank-switching... okay?
