If you build it, they will come

Hello Fellow Vintage Computer Enthusiasts,



On about the first of May I implemented a web-based messaging board as an
adjunct to my collection website at www.vintage-computer.com/vcforum.



Since that time these message boards have been well used by the 80+
registered members (and by several times that many visitors) who have posted
over 100 messages a week on a wide variety of classic computing topics.



I believe that the draw of the forum is simple.  It provides a dynamic, easy
to use and persistent place to share categorized information, images and
ideas about all things related to vintage computer topics.  I am convinced
that these forums will continue to grow into the vibrant community that I
and all of the other VC Forum users envision.  We're already most of the way
there!



Please join us in building this community by visiting the forum, signing up
(all you need is an email address and I promise it will remain protected for
use only by the forum itself), posting an introduction and then joining any
of the many ongoing threads.  Whether you own an Altair or a Zorba or
anything in between I'm sure you'll find someone else who's as passionate
and knowledgeable about the machine as you are.
