Europlus slot 7 PAL colour card query

Hi,
I recently bought a europlus Apple and in slot 7 there was a card which
I assume is to give colour output to a monitor. I'm keen to find out how
this card is installed or if anyone has got documentation on it.

Its got "copyright microvitec ltd" and BC0054101 silk screened onto the
component side, there is a large "PL1" connector with 8 pins which I
guess is supposed to be video out and there are 5 jumper blocks each is
3 pin and 2 have got jumpers on them. The rest of the board contains 3
rows of TTL 7400 series chips (there are no proms eproms or PAL encoder
chips).

When I first opened my apple II I found a short cable loose inside which
I guess might have connected this board to the motherboard. Its got 2
wires ended in test clips (one red one blue) and the other end is a 3
way plug which would fit one of the 3 pin jumper blocks (but which one?)

I have plugged the card into slot 7 and scoped the 8 pins on PL1 but
could not see any video like signals on any pins, but I had not got the
2 wire cable plugged in, perhaps the card is broken, but more likely I
have not installed it correctly.

Does anyone else have a card like this and how to install it correctly?
Any help would be welcome.
Thanks,
