quite possible to be honest; I was just assuming but I certainly
wouldn't be able to tell one from the other :-}

well as said in a seperate post my TV half-thought about working with
it but I get a very streaky picture. Having said that I believe my TV
will cope with both PAL and NTSC so it perhaps doesn't tell me much! I
may have to tweak the modulator in the Mitac to use a different
frequency and see if my set will then lock onto it properly, but I'm
reluctant to disturb things at present - I'll try a different TV set
first (once that I know can't accept NTSC) and see what happens.
